I bought this ring on Amazon in Feb 2014 for around $25 with shipping included.

I looked at several other rings before this purchase and returned one ring unrelated to this one when I discovered how big and heavy tungsten metal really was. From that lesson, I got this 8MM High Polish/Matte Finished ring and couldn't have been happier.

I looked at wood inlay rings, black tungsten, 8MM, 9MM, 10MM, gems, diamonds, you name it type (expensive) metals and I researched it. I wanted wide-band with some weight but not so heavy to be constantly reminded of that weight by a stressed finger. I think I found the balance.

The ring looks nice and doesn't look like something pulled out of a toolbox. It's wide enough to be visible from a distance to help ward off all those women chasing you all the time (had to put that in there for my wife) and has a simple yet rugged style about it.

Since I have very simple tastes, I wanted to get a ring that stood out on me but what I found after all my searching through jewelry store ads was that "simple" CAN be attractive, cheaper, and better!

I originally had a titanium wedding ring that I paid over $100 for when I bought my wife's ring at the jewelers. Now that my finger has grown a little too large, I needed a larger ring and seeing that titanium is not easily resized, I decided to get a new ring. I went to the jeweler where I had bought my original and saw that prices for titanium were around $150 now and tungsten was over $200.

I was hoping to get a tungsten ring as my titanium ring scratches much easier than I had hoped and tungsten is a much harder metal. The jeweler tried to sell me on the point that if I were to buy a tungsten ring on Amazon for around $25, the quality would be lesser and I would likely see it chip or shatter more easily than the one's from the jeweler. The very nature of tungsten being a harder metal means that it is more brittle. The exact alloy I'm getting is not something I am going to research from each place, but I can easily say that if my ring does chip or shatter, I can easily buy 7 more before I even hit the price for one of the same type at the jeweler. Even the one at the jeweler has the possibility of chipping or shattering, so I think I'll keep my $175+ dollars and take the chances of getting a slightly lower quality metal.

From what I can see, the ring is exactly as described, looks, good, feels good, and I am happy I got it shipped for about $23. The jeweler quickly sized me up at a 9, and that is what I bought. Fits me perfectly.

I bought this ring for my husband. It was to replace his original wedding band that we spent a pretty penny on. His original, very expensive tungsten wedding band got horribly tarnished and scratched up after some time so I wanted to buy him a similar replacement. For the price I paid, this ring has been worth it and more! He hardly ever takes it off and it still looks brand new almost 5 years later! Thank you so much for providing a true tungsten piece at such an affordable price. We love it!

I purchased this ring to replace my wedding band. I previously had a titanium band but the biggest issue I had with that ring was how easily it scratched. So when I found myself in need of replacing that band my research lead me directly to Tungsten Carbide. Just so you know there are downsides to the material as opposed to Titanium. Since tungsten carbide is more like a ceramic it does have the ability to chip/fracture if you hit the material hard enough. However with this application as jewelry impacts that could cause that are limited.

That being said I still chose this ring because of the look and the cost. It is very similar to what my titanium ring looked like at a fraction of the cost. As others have said this is a comfort fit ring and it is recommended (by the seller Metal Masters) that you get your finger sized and then go with a half-size smaller. I went to a jewelry store and measured myself at 7.5. I purchased a size 7 ring and it fits perfectly. Additionally the ring looks as it is pictured, but under most lighting it will seem a shade darker.

All in all this ring meets or exceeds my expectations in terms of looks, material and most of all price. Would definitely recommend this ring to anyone.

When we got married, my husband refused to get a ring because he doesn't follow social norms or whatever it is he said. I ended up buying this one for him to see if maybe he would wear it, and if not the price wouldn't hurt me.
The first one I ordered was too big (I ordered a size up thinking they would come small) and Metal Masters quickly replaced it for me with no hassle. And the second one was absolutely perfect.
He has grown so attached to his ring now that he freaks out if he forgets it at home when he's in a rush out. His biggest fear is losing this ring that he loves so much because he feels I put so much thought into finding him the perfect ring for him. I felt guilty once because he was under the impression that i had spent a lot of money, so I told him how cheap it really was and it only made him love it even more! Like proof that it is the perfect ring after all.
It really is scratch-proof by the way, my husband works at a warehouse and spends his free time working on cars and the ring still looks like new.

After reading the reviews of the ring I only had one concern, and it was the sizing. I lost my ring a while ago and not being one to use jewelry at all I forgot what size I am. So I went to a local Kay Jewelers and ask if they could size my finger. They took out a set of rings they use for this purpose, turned out to be a 7.5. The difference with an 8 was noticeable.

So I took a chance and ordered a 7, half a size less, after some reviewers recommended this. One of them claimed to have talked with MetalMasters and said that they recommended this as well. Turned out perfect!! It fits just right and is very comfortable to wear. I am sure a 7.5 would be too big. This, in my experience, and in comparison with the Kay sizing set.

As for the rest, the ring looks excellent. Just like the ones in their store if you ask me. Does not feel/look cheap. Arrived very fast. I am very pleased. Highly recommended!

Very beautiful and quality is good.
