I normally only buy items sold or fulfilled by Amazon. But since I couldn't find this from Amazon, I took a chance. Big mistake!
What's wrong with this ring? First, sizing. I normally wear 10 1/2, so figured an 11 would fit. Nope! Partly because it seems to be sized small, but also because it is wide and flat, and has sharp edges. Secondly, the sharp edges. When the edges aren't cutting into me, the defective links are poking into my finger.
I'd consider exchanging it for a size 12, but there are no guarantees it wouldn't have the same problems. And reading the fine print, free shipping is only free if you keep it. Return it and they'll deduct an unknown amount, which added on to the return postage will probably get me nothing for a refund.
Lesson learned. If it isn't Prime eligible, you roll the dice. Even with vendors whose name I've seen on a lot of products.
Very unhappy with this purchase. Caveat emptor.
UPDATE Sept. 30, 2015 - Although this is a product review, my initial problems involved sizing and defects that, because it was not fulfilled by Amazon, would have been non-economical to get replaced. When I went to leave less than stellar vendor feedback, it was suggested (by the system) that I contact the vendor first. I did, complaining that postage and handling would not be worthwhile to even return the defective ring of an $8 item. The vendor (Sabrina Jewelry) responded, offering to replace the ring with the proper size and send a return envelope. They did, and the replacement arrived today. No sharp edges. And although a size larger than I normally wear, it fits well.
So I am revising my rating to 4 stars, with the recommendation that (probably due to the design being wide and flat), if you order this item, go one size up from what you normally wear. I wear 10 1/2-11, and this is size 12
